Rosler was one of a number of artists invited to create works based on material from the newly digitized photographic archive of David Alfaro Siqueiros, the twentieth-century Mexican painter, muralist, and political activist. Rosler merged images from the American war in Iraq in a panorama with an archival Siqueiros photograph of rifles from the time of the 1910 Mexican Revolution. The outdoor banner was installed in Los Angeles.
